✨ The Day I Realized Not All “Agents” Are Actually Agents ✨

✨ The Day I Realized Not All “Agents” Are Actually Agents ✨

(A melodramatic LinkedIn confession from inside the trenches of UAE real estate)

There is a special moment in every broker’s life when you sit in the office, look at your phone, breathe deeply, and ask yourself:

“How… HOW is it possible that someone is asking me again if we have a one-bedroom for sale in ‘that tower’… without even checking the inventory?”

Ladies and gentlemen…
Welcome to the gap the Grand Canyon that separates real agents from people who simply own a Broker license and a phone.

Every day I see two species roaming our industry:

🐆 1. The Real Estate Agent

Sharp. Aware. Knows stock better than their own birthday.
Can recite the service charge of five towers while driving through Yas Island with eyes closed.
Already knows the size, the availability, the payment plan, the MOU process, and what fees a tenant should pay before you even finish the question.

And then…

🐢 2. The “Agent” Who Asks:
• “Do we have 1 bed in this tower?”
• “Do we have 3 beds in that area?”
• “What’s the size?”
• “Service charge?”
• “MOU process?”
• “Fees?”
• “Where am I? Who am I? Why am I in real estate?”

My listing agents are not therapists.
They are listing agents.

But because life loves plot twists, from now on they will call every agent 30 minutes after a lead is assigned to check:
• Did you call the client?
• Did you follow up?
• Did you even open the listing?
• Do you know anything about the unit you’re selling?

Not because we enjoy micromanagement…
But because we are done transferring leads to agents who treat real estate like a part-time hobby between breakfast and destiny.

And yes if you don’t know our Madhmoun stock, our listings, our availability, or our basic information…
Your lead goes to the next expert agent. Swiftly. Elegantly. Without a funeral.

Because real estate is not guesswork.
It’s not roulette.
It’s not “Let me check with the listing agent” every 7 minutes.

It’s a profession.
A craft.
A discipline.
And sometimes… a warzone where only the prepared survive.

If we want to elevate this industry, we must close this gap one agent at a time.
Awareness of inventory is not optional.
Basic knowledge is not “extra credit.”
It’s the minimum standard.

So here’s my melodramatic, heartfelt request:

**🖤 If you choose this profession, then honor it.

Don’t ask for shortcuts.
Learn your stock before touching a lead.
Be the agent clients trust not the agent they avoid.**

If you’re a real estate professional who believes in mastery, preparation, and respect for the craft, connect with me.
Let’s rebuild this industry one informed, empowered, real agent at a time.

And if this post made you uncomfortable…
Maybe it was meant for you. 😉
