Success means nothing when you realize life can end before your next meeting.

Success means nothing when you realize life can end before your next meeting.

We spend our days chasing targets, campaigns, meetings, closing deals, building companies, expanding visions. We breathe ambition like oxygen.

But then something happens that stops everything.

A child dies.
Three years old.
Gone in a moment.

Suddenly, “What’s the pipeline this week?” becomes the least important question in the universe.
No KPI prepares you for that.

Some souls are too pure to stay long

Some souls don’t come to grow old with us.
They come to touch us, change us, and return to God before the world leaves fingerprints on them.

Their purpose isn’t measured in years, but in the impact they leave behind.

When a child leaves early, destinies shift

Sometimes their absence changes more lives than their presence could:

• Families reconnect
• Someone returns to faith
• A person chooses a path of service
• A parent starts a charity
• Communities become softer and more compassionate

Sometimes the role is fulfilled not by staying, but by leaving early.

Faith doesn’t cancel grief

We question, we cry, we break, we surrender.
Faith is not the absence of pain faith is the strength to say:

“I don’t understand, but I trust.”

Why I’m writing this

To remind myself first.

I am a work-driven person. I push limits, chase results, and build relentlessly. But life is not only business.

My daughters come first.
My husband comes first.
Family is the real legacy.

Everyone else visits our lives for a reason or we pass through theirs for a season and then we continue our journey.

And to Roma D’souza , my beloved personal assistant, whose heart carried this child with depth, love, and responsibility you remind us that God places certain souls in our lives with purpose.

We are not here only to build companies; we are here to build meaning.

🌿 Final thought

If a child can leave an impact with only a few years on earth, then we adults with full lives have no excuse to live without purpose.

May our work serve our life, not replace it.
May our goals align with God’s plan, not our ego.
And may we live so that when we leave, we leave light behind.

If this touched your heart, pause today. Call someone you love. Don’t wait.
